The lands of origin
At the Roots of Coffee: A Journey Through Landscapes, People, and Fragrances
Discover the origins of coffee by walking among the plants in the greenhouse, observing the flowers, the ripe drupes, and touching the beans of the various species. An immersive journey through botany, traditional tools, sacks of green coffee, and intense aromas. A space that recounts the work on the plantation—particularly that of women—and daily life in the places where it all begins.
The collection
Over two centuries of coffee culture, including objects, design and tradition
An extraordinary exhibition of over 200 original pieces: household coffee-making tools from the 18th century onwards, vintage professional machines, and iconic models that have shaped the history of espresso. The collection is rounded out by more than 700 coffee cups from Italian and international roasters, a testament to the evolution of taste and design over time.
The tasting room
Experiences, meetings, and tastings to get closer to the world of coffee
In a state-of-the-art, intimate amphitheater, coffee culture comes to life through lectures, demonstrations, and moments of discussion. The experience concludes in the most natural way: with a tasting. Espresso or filter coffee, every cup is an invitation to discovery.
The Library
A quiet and intimate space, dedicated to coffee culture
Inside the Caffé Milani Exhibition Center, the library is a place to explore, study, and find inspiration. A collection of historical books, technical volumes, and publications dedicated to the world of coffee and roasting are available to scholars, enthusiasts, and professionals. A space where knowledge becomes aroma.
